ELECTIONS IN SAN MARCOS The Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos is given a new opportunity to promote true sustainable development to the vindication of their status and seat of Dean America through an electoral process in place to ensure the election of the new authorities that unlike the current ones, actually work the development of San Marcos and not by special interests. San Marcos needs new forms of governance of the University that means, among other things, the continued fight against corruption, all expressions of and mediocracy (culture of mediocrity).
On Friday, May 22 held student elections. On Tuesday May 25 will be held the election of representatives of teachers in the mansion. In the election of teachers involves three lists: List No. 1 Agreement (Institution), List No. 3 (Consensus in San Marcos) and List No. 5 (United Front San Marcos). The latter (List No. 5) is the current list of governing environment. However the management debacle has damaged the image of San Marcos, the current president intends to promote continuity.
